Meet the Team

Keith Hyams

Keith is Professor of Political Theory and Ethics at the University of Warwick. His research explores how to rethink democracy to make it fit for the future. When he’s not thinking about politics, you’ll find him mountain biking, exploring caves, and climbing mountains.

Jessica Sutherland

Jess is a research fellow at the University of Warwick. She is interested in how AI and emerging technologies impact democracy and how solutions can ensure tech serves society’s best interests. She also loves music – everything from punk to jazz – collects vinyl, and goes to live shows any chance she gets.

Daniel White

Dan is writing a doctorate at the University of Oxford. He works on animal rights and is interested in how democracy can genuinely include the interests of all. In his spare time, he enjoys audiobooks, gaming, plant-based cooking, and going to the gym.

Jagritee Senapati

Jagritee is pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy at the University of Warwick. Formerly a history educator, she is passionate about shaping AI-driven education policies and ensuring democratic rights are both accessible and equitable. Outside of academia, she’s an open-water scuba diver who loves exploring marine life.

Woody Pal

Woody has just finished his undergraduate studies at the University of Warwick, and is starting a Master’s program in Political Science at LSE in September. He is especially interested in conflict studies and international relations, and outside of his studies he’s passionate about anything to do with cameras.
